The songs of Burt Bacharach – who left this planet on 08.02.2023 – are a Jewel in the listing of American Music, called the „Great American Songbook“. Not only are they being performed by singers, they are also a important part of the repertoire played by Jazzpianists. So to speak they function as a backbone in Christoph Spendel´s solo program, that he performs in jazzclubs, festivals, high end hotels and privat events.
